525 Linc

In 2017, Arx Urban partnered with Boylston Properties and FAM Asset Management to develop 525 Linc, the 130,000 square foot, 279-bedroom residential graduate student housing/ co-living development in Allston. The project is comprised of purpose-built high-density shared suites and studios where individuals rent their own private bedroom and bathroom and share common areas, kitchens, living rooms, and other amenity spaces with their suitemates.

Completed in 2024, 525 Linc serves as a model for creating naturally occurring affordable housing without subsidies to house the city’s young population. The project won the Massachusetts Apartment Association’s New Construction Community of the Year.
